Today was my sixteenth birthday! I had a great time and ate lots of cake! :) I actually haven't started learning how to drive yet, but birthdays are always exciting just the same. Just thought I'd end my day with an outfit post, have a great rest of the week!

Knit Maxi

I was really disappointed because I ordered these shoes online a while ago but they were unfortunately too big. (Those tricky European sizes...) But I found that I can wear them with chunky socks and they kind of give off the impression of ankle boots! Anyone have any other tricks to make shoes fit better? Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

Peekaboo Tulle

I've been dying for a poofy tulle skirt, but this will have to do for now. It was actually my middle school grad dress. There's a hideous green sash and it's a akward length, but I hate letting clothes go to waste so after some carful belting I think it turned out okay. Also, my Steve Madden Carnabys came a while ago! I really wanted the black sequin Carnbys but they were sold out in my size so I settled for these. Have a great weekend!

Today was one of those roll out of bed and put on whatever is on the floor days. I was just in the mood for something loose and comfortable, but it happened to create an outfit with a lot of spring trends. It's a bit literal for sportswear, but there are hints of colorblocking and pastels, no? :) What's your favorite trend?
